Come and take part in this 1st edition of the informal Forum:

'Research careers at the CEA!'



The aim of this forum?

To enable you to :

Meet the people in charge of recruitment at the CEA so that you can ask them your questions about the recruitment process.

Find out more about the various career options available at the CEA after you have completed your thesis.

Talk to current professionals to gain a better understanding of their missions and activities, and benefit from their feedback.


Programme:

5:00-5:30 pm: Conference 

- Presentation of contracts and careers at the CEA after a thesis

5:30-6:00 pm: Round table chaired by Alexander HOLMES, our Alumni Relations Officer



Quentin ABADIE
After graduating from École Centrale de Marseille in 2015 and obtaining a PhD in physics from the University of Grenoble Alpes in 2018, he began his career at the CEA during his thesis in nanophotonics and was then recruited as a permanent research engineer at the CEA in integrated micro-optics on CMOS image sensors. He went on to become a laboratory manager before returning to research. He is now a research engineer in integrated micro-optics on emissive components.


Adrian EVANS 
He spent much of his career in industry (Cisco Systems) designing digital integrated circuits. Midway through his career, he decided to pursue a PhD in circuit reliability and then switch to research. Today, he is a research engineer at CEA/LIST, where he explores more efficient computing approaches.



Anne-Sophie ROYET
Research engineer in theory and modeling for microelectronic devices and systems


Clémence JAMIN

Optical/optronic systems research engineer for the development and production of systems or components




6:00-7:00 pm: Cocktail reception and discussions with the various speakers


The event will be in English.
