Contestant, coach, judge

ICPC - International Collegiate Programming Contest

From February 2015 to August 2021

ACM-ICPC is an international programming contest for university students. Contests consist of several competitive programming problems. Teams are required to solve these problems under time constraint. Each team consists of 3 students with one computer only. Solutions are written using a certain programming language and require problem-solving/critical-thinking skills in math, algorithms, and data structures.

I participated in many official/unofficial contests and achieved multiple awards. Notably:
• University contest winner for one time, and second place for three times. (among 20+ participating teams)
• National contest: third place in 2017, fifth place in 2018 , sixth place in 2016 . (60+ participating teams)
• Regional contest participant for three times. (100+ participating teams)
• Coach for several teams from Higher Institute for Applied Science and Technology, Yarmouk Private University, Arab International University.
• Judge in Damascus local contest in 2019.
• Chief Judge in Aleppo local contest in 2019.

Contestant

IPhO International Physics Olympiad

From January 2011 to December 2013

The International Physics Olympiad (IPhO) is the most prestigious international physics competition for secondary school students. The main aim of IPhO is to test the highest level of knowledge, critical thinking, problem solving, right practices of presentation and analysis, and hands-on skills in theoretical and experimental physics. The IPhO is organized annually in different countries as 9-10-days competition wherein national teams comprising maximum of five of their best physics students and two team leaders participate.

I participate three times in IPHO:
Thailand 2011.
Estonia 2012 and get honorable mention.
Denmark 2013 and get honorable mention.
