From June 2019 to Today
Use of Neutron and X-ray imaging for fluid and gas flow characterisation in porous media.
This project is a part of the national ANR project MACENA dealing with the management of the containment of enclosures in accidents related to nuclear power plants. The main tasks includes
- the development of novel instruments supported by sophisticated imaging methods for visualising the reproduced small scale conditions related to such extreme events as well as investigating the driving physical phenomena.
- the management of financial expenses in accordance to desired invasion developments
- collaboration and management of local staff in the research project
- handling experimental campaigns, analysis and scientific developments
